FAQ on events

Who plans your events?

Our members. Anyone who has an idea and dares to implement it, plans and carries out an event.

Why are your events only for members?

First and foremost, this is due to liability, insurance and our self-image as a non-profit organization. In addition, we do not see an annual membership fee of € 100.00 for a complete participation in the life of the association as a serious hurdle.

What do you do with the income from the events?

Together with membership fees and donations, the income from the events serves to cover our budget. The budget includes rent and additional costs for the house, maintenance and further expansion of the playing facilities.

Why do you take such different participation fees for your events?

Because the events have different costs. If members meet for casual play weekend, there are no costs except those for food and accommodation.

A thematic event (e.g. jail event) involves considerable expenses. Among other things, food and accommodation for the guards and the provision of clothing and utensils for the prisoners.

What does “all inclusive” really mean?

What it says. The participation fee includes accommodation, complete meals (food & drinks) and the use of all play facilities. There is not a single cent of additional costs for the participants.

I cannot or do not want to eat all food. Is there a problem?

We are very experienced in dealing with the kitchen. We regularly cater for carnivores, omnivores, vegetarians and vegans and can accommodate almost any health or ideological food intolerance. We only need to know it beforehand (at the registration).

Why do you only do events lasting several days?

On the one hand we think that there are enough evening events. But above all we like the dynamics that arise between all participants during a longer stay.
